Keystone Corridor Analysis – Station Location Strategic Plan

Eastern Pennsylvania | 2010

UC Studios approaches station-location planning as a long-term regional development decision. We assess accessibility, surrounding land uses, infrastructure capacity, market potential, and the ability of each station area to connect people with housing, jobs, services, and investment. This process establishes clear planning criteria for transit-oriented growth that can be coordinated across municipalities, public agencies, and private partners.

Working under AECOM on PennDOT’s Keystone Corridor Station Location Strategic Plan, UC Studios evaluated station locations and development potential along Pennsylvania’s rail corridor. The work identified opportunities for transit-supportive housing, employment, retail, public services, and pedestrian connections, while considering the infrastructure and land-use conditions required for successful station-area growth. The resulting analysis supported a phased framework for coordinated municipal action, public-private investment, and stronger regional access.
