SR 91 Corridor Study

UC Studios approaches regional corridor planning as more than a capacity exercise. We evaluate how transportation performance, freight movement, accessibility, land use, employment, and surrounding communities interact across a connected system. This integrated perspective helps identify infrastructure strategies that improve mobility while supporting economic activity, equitable access, and future development.
For the SR-91 Corridor Study, UC Studios contributed corridor-planning expertise for one of Southern California’s most important commuter and freight routes. The work examined congestion, transportation capacity, regional mobility, accessibility, and corridor conditions, while evaluating how improvements could better serve surrounding communities, employment centers, freight movement, and future development. The resulting analysis supported a coordinated strategy for advancing mobility across this critical regional corridor.
